Is it more expensive to rent on a high floor?
In the country as a whole it is almost unchanged: the floor 16 or more is rented - 1.2% per m² in front of the floor 1. Within each city the floor premium 8 or more in front of the floors 1 to 3 goes from - 7.6% (Rionegro) to + 34.4% (Manizales).
In Colombia an apartment on the floor 16 or more is rented in the median by 45,714 pesos a m² per month, compared to 46,250 pesos on the floor 1 (- 1.2%). Comparing floor 8 or more with floor 1 to 3 inside each city, the largest premium on the upper floor is in Manizales (+ 34.4%).
